Arrive at the Guwahati Airport or station and drive to Shillong. En route, visit the Umiam Lake. Once you reach Shillong, check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing night stay.
On this day, after breakfast, visit Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures and Bara Bazar. Head to the Archery Field to witness the famous traditional archery game of Meghalaya. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the local market. Stay overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Later, drive to Cherrapunji to witness the beauty of Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Also, visit Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Falls and Krem Falls. You can spend the evening at leisure. Retire for the day and enjoy your night stay in Cherrapunji.
After an early breakfast, proceed to Guwahati. Check in at the hotel in Guwahati and freshen up. Visit Kamakhya Temple for Maa darshan. After some local sightseeing, take a boat ride on the mighty Brahmaputra River in the evening. The boat ride depends on the water level of the river and availability of the cruise.
After breakfast, head to the airport or railway station for your return journey.
